Pre-ballet and Ballet
Esperanza started dancing in Palma de Mallorca dancing/learning at different schools on the island (Mª Antonia Mas, Fortunasdansa, Llardansa, Francisca Tomás), it was not until later, when she arrived in Barcelona to study Business Administration and Management, that she she trained as a dancer in the training course of the Centre de Dansa de Catalunya under the guidance of Joan Boix and Roser Muñoz and it was then whenshe realized that she wanted to be a teacher of classical dance in her hometown, Palma de Mallorca.
Once trained as a dancer, she moved to Toronto to pursue/take a degree in dance pedagogy at Canada's National Ballet School, where she trained as a dance pedagogue and took the opportunity to train as a pianist accompanying ballet classes with Craig Wingrove.
During his period in Canada, he worked on the creation of his own educational program, adapted to the culture and reality of the Islands.
After teaching at Canada's national ballet school, several dance schools in Mallorca and master classes at artistic gymnastics clubs and high-performance dance sports centers, she decided to put her personal project in value by opening artdansamallorca in 2020.
Ballet, Creative Dance and Adults
Sofia began dancing at the age of 5 at her own request at the Llar Dansa academy, located in Palma, her hometown. At the age of 7, she completed the elementary degree at the Palma Conservatory of Dance, where she continued with the professional degree in classical dance until she was 18 years old.
At the same time, he trained with many other professionals from different parts of the world. At the age of 14, she was awarded a scholarship by the Víctor Ullate Academy, located in Madrid, so she left the island for a school year. At hte age of 17 he achieved 4th position in the Dance World Cup Spain competition in the Neoclassical category, which allowed her to participate in the finals of Dance World Cup 2018.
Later, he moved to Barcelona, where he trained in dance pedagogy at Institut del Teatre, taking one of the semesters at the Anton Bruckner Privatunivesität, in Austria. in the meantime, she combined her studies with teaching classes in different schools in Barcelona and her work as a dancer in different shows and events.
Currently, he lives in Palma, and is passionately dedicated to teaching.Her point of interest and research focuses on the imaginary in classical dance and ideokinesis.
Music
Her passion for music began listening to bands at the Moors and Christians festivals in her town, Banyeres de Mariola, where he completed his elementary studies.
Later, he continued to study at Conservatori Melcior Gomis d'Ontinyent, where she met several teachers who made herpassion for music grow. He broadened her oboistic training with teachers such as Jose Maria Ferrero or Edu Sala, among others. During those years, she combined her oboe studies with singing.
Currently, he continues her musical studies at the Conservatori Superior de Ses Illes Balears in the itinerary of interpretation specializing in oboe, with teachers of the stature of Bruno Lucas Pérez, Javier Arnal, Thomas Indermühler and Magí Garcías.
Although herspecialty is the oboe and musical interpretation in band, orchestra and chamber groups,she is passionate about learning by teaching andtransmiting her passion for this art, music.
The uniformity in the school, allows to instill in the students the importance of discipline and equality amongclassmates, allowing them to visually establish short and long-term goals that helps them to focus on the objectives set for their level, being able to understand what will come later
All students must come properly groomed/combed: Girls should have their hair completely away from their face and tied up in a bun. Guys with long hair should tie it up in a ponytail.
Accessories are not allowed in class: jewelry, bracelets, watches, rings, necklaces...
Uniform
Pre-ballet and creative dance students:
Girls: Mint green leotard with sewn skirt. Flesh-colored tights, pink sneakers/slippers and optional white jacket./cardigan
Boys: Short green tights/leotards, white top, white sneakers/slippers and socks.

Girls: White leotard and separate white skirt, white short socks and pink slipperss. Optional white jacket.
Boys: Long gray leggings/tights/leotards, white upper part/top, white socks, white slippers
Uniforms
All grade students will wear the color leotard of their Grade, and the skirt will be reserved at the discretion of the teacher (festivals, open days...). Nude-colored stockings and pink split-soled canvas/fabric slippers.
Boys will wear the indicated color leggings, white top, and sneakers /slippers with white socks.
Grade 1-3:
Girls: Light blue
Boys: Navy
Grade 4-6:
Girls: Lavender
Boys: Purple
Grade 7-9:
Girls and Boys: Seaweed Green
